Faces of Boston

Faces of Boston

Created by Facetopo

Come find Faces of Boston at the HUB on City Hall Plaza (Container 26)! We’re transforming a shipping container into funhouse of mirrors and lights! At HUBweek 2017, Facetopo users will be able to create a photostrip of their captures and participate in our Wall of Faces installation.

The Faces of Boston HUBweek container will also feature a Portrait Salon with work from Artist Kate True, Photographer Gulnara Niaz, and Artist Emily Gallardo. Artist Kate True will paint live ink portraits for an additional fee. Plus there will be prizes and giveaways!

Facetopo is a global citizen science big data project about faces. Anyone can participate by creating a Facetopo 3D facemap using the Facetopo app (free download in iTunes and googleplay). Once our initial milestone is reached, users will be able to learn what’s in a face, compare their facial features to others, and creates a family facetree.

This exhibit is part of The HUB presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Registration is free.
